2 Dental Assistant openings, looking for one assistant to be bilingual (English and Tagalog)

Job Summary:

We are seeking two skilled and dedicated Dental Assistants to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of our patients.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment

- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing other necessary support

- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist

- Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions and applying sealants

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software

- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's front desk duties as needed

- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

- Follow strict aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Assist with medical coding and billing processes as required

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant

- Knowledge of medical documentation, dental receptionist systems, patient assessment, and medical coding

- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software is highly desirable

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
