Title of Immediate Supervisor: Clinical Manager

Job Summary:

HealthCare Synergy, Inc. is searching for Coders to join its Managed Services – Clinical Team. As a Coder, you will review, accurately assign, and abstract diagnostic and procedural codes to encounters using designated coding classification under occasional guidance. Strongly Prefer: OASIS-C and Home Health Coding experience/certification.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

Organize and prioritize coding work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital targets.
Assign the most appropriate diagnosis and procedures to reflect the utilization of resources during the patient encounter.
Recognize documentation clarification opportunities to ensure it supports all codes and designation assignments. Initiates coding queries or tasks.

Job Requirements

3 years relevant experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Fluency in English (Speaking – Reading – Writing).
Able to follow policies and procedures and provide detailed documentation.
Strongly preferred:
- Experience in Home Health – Billing and/or Clinical.
- SOC RN, LVN/LPN, PT, OT, SLP licensure in any of the 50 US states.
- Medical or Coding certification.
- Synergy EMR experience.
- Speak fluently in Spanish or Tagalog.
Salary Range: $35,000 – $40, 000 per year
