We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients in one long-term care facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on patients' lives.

### Responsibilities

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times

- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

- Follow established care plans and assist with medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses

- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

### Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices

- Experience in long term care facility

- Familiarity with dementia care principles and techniques

- Ability to work effectively with seniors residents

- Proficiency in vital signs taking

- Understanding of behavioral health principles and interventions

- Knowledge of High Fall Risk Precaution guidelines

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

### Qualifications

- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program

- Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Tagalog, Polish or Spanish Language will be a plus!
