Our groundbreaking data project aims to shape the future of AI in an ethical way, and your participation is highly welcome! This project allows you to be paid for your everyday conversations with a friend, roommate, or family member.
Project Details:
This is a remote task, and it takes only 2 minutes to audition. If your audition is successful, the work can be done from the comfort of your home.
Requirements:
- Access to a computer and either earbuds or a microphone connected to your computer (Macbook computers work best)
- Ability to read and understand instruction in English
- 18+ years of age
- Must have a stable internet connection
- Ability to speak fluently in one of the following languages:
- English
- Italian
- French
- German
- Spanish
- Recording partner that also has access to a computer, is 18 years of age or older and is fluent in the same language that you speak.
Compensation:
$35 USD each for you and your conversation partner, $70 USD total, per hour of recorded conversation. Each pair can record up to 50 hours of two person conversation for a total of $3,500 USD
Job Description:
This work requires you to complete conversational data, both scripted and natural with a partner. You must have a partner available to work with before you apply, so please make sure you have that in place before you apply. You will need to include the name of your partner in your application.You and your partner will deliver up to 50 hours of scripted and natural conversations using prompts and questions. The payment will be for both you and your partner to complete these samples.Participants will preferably record themselves in a room with low echoes, at normal conversational volume, not too quietly, not too loudly, with minimal background noise. We are looking for pairs of talent to record up to 50 hours of conversational data using our provided virtual space.
You will be given 5 weeks to complete this work, with a minimum requirement of 6 hours of finished audio delivered per week. Voices will be providing you with your own virtual recording space that includes automatic file delivery once you’ve completed your recordings.

How To Apply
Usage:
There will be NO public broadcast or paid usage, meaning no advertisements or online media.
The recordings will be used for internal TTS research and development purposes. Non-broadcast, internal, in perpetuity. There will be NO public or paid usage, nor will your voice be used as any form of external facing TTS model.
