Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Translator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written content from one language to another, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. This role requires a strong command of multiple languages, exceptional writing skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication across diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Translate documents, articles, and other written materials from English language to target language while maintaining the original meaning and context.
- Proofread and edit translations to ensure high-quality output and adherence to linguistic standards.
- Collaborate with other linguists and team members to ensure consistency in terminology and style across projects.
- Write original content as needed, ensuring clarity and coherence in the target language.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in linguistics to enhance translation techniques.
Requirements
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in English and at least one other language is essential.
- Languages: Armenian Eastern, Armenian Western, Mandarin, Cantonese, Farsi, Hindi, Hmong, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, German, Hebrew, Ilocano, Khmer, Lao, Mixtec, Portuguese (Brazilian & Continental), Samoan, Somali, Ukrainian, Urdu.
- Associates Degree or higher. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong background in Linguistics or related fields is preferred.
- Previous experience in translation, proofreading, writing, or interpreting is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in all languages involved.
- Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
- A passion for languages and cultural exchange is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $24.70 - $27.54 per hour
