Our company is seeking a Restaurant Manager with at least 3 plus years experience to work closely with our team to create and implement comprehensive policies and programs related to food prep, administration, food safety and restaurant inspections. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring that all deadlines are met, services are in line with our company's model and be able to run an efficient crew. The successful candidate for this position will be required to work directly with the Owner and staff members to create policies related to food prep, and will be responsible for training all new employees.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include, but not limited to, bank runs, cash drops and setting up and checking cash drawers as needed.
- Create and implement a professional environment for employees and guests.
- Oversee restaurant operations.
- Establish, implement, and monitor all restaurant policies and procedures.
- Inspect restaurant facilities and ensure they are safe, clean, and in good working order.
- Supervise cashiers, hostess, and other employees to ensure they are complying with rules and procedures. Training new and current employees on proper clients service practices, implementing policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
- Plan menus; anticipate demand and purchase food in advance of need. Perform inventory.
- Oversee kitchen staff by managing daily activities, scheduling hours, assigning work duties, providing feedback on job performance, disciplining employees as necessary.
- Manage restaurant finances; budget revenues and expenses; collect receivables; track inventory; make financial reports to management; creating detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Coordinating daily front of the house and back of the house restaurant operations.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction, respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints, regularly review products quality, and research new vendors, organize and supervise shifts, appraise staff performance and provide reviews to improve productivity.
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, managing restaurant good image and suggest ways to improve it.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Promoting the brand in the local community through word of mouth and restaurant events, recommending ways to reach a broader audience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
