Your Role:
As a Caregiver at Bay Area Senior Home Care, you’ll provide compassionate support to seniors in one county - San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Napa or Sonoma
Personal Care:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (with respect for dignity).
- Follow individualized care plans for clients with dementia, mobility issues, or chronic conditions.
Health & Safety:
- Monitor and document vital signs (blood pressure, glucose levels) and report changes.
- Assist with medication reminders (no administration).
- Prevent falls and ensure a safe, clean home (light housekeeping, meal prep).
Companionship & Enrichment:
- Engage clients in memory-boosting activities (puzzles, music, reminiscence therapy).
- Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments or social outings.
- Cook nutritious, culturally appropriate meals (support dietary needs like diabetic/low-sodium).
We’re Looking For:
✅ 1+ year of caregiving experience (or CNA certification).
✅ Compassion and patience – especially with dementia clients.
✅ CA HCA Registration (or ability to register with CA Home Care Aide Registry).
✅ CPR/First Aid certification (we help you get certified!).
Bonus Skills:
- Bilingual (Spanish, Cantonese, Tagalog, etc.).
- Experience with Parkinson’s, stroke recovery, accident or surgery recovery.
