Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Omaha, NE, for a Paralegal at 402Legal. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. Responsibilities include drafting contracts, filing motions, maintaining case calendars, organizing case documentation, and corresponding with clients. Additional duties include supporting legal proceedings and ensuring compliance with legal deadlines and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research, legal writing, and document drafting skills
• Proficiency in managing case files, calendaring, and organizing documents
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals
• Organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of business, family, and/or immigration law is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution
• Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French, Tagalog, Spanish, Mina) is a plus
