About AIF

A.I. Foods Corporation (AIF) is a growing Filipino food company based in East Los Angeles engaged in importations, food processing and wholesale distribution. We are seeking a strong, experienced Operations Manager to oversee company operations and lead our organization’s day-to-day activities.

This position will effectively take ownership of daily operations and serve as the operational leader of the company.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager will run overall operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and accountability across all departments. This role requires a process-oriented leader with strong personnel management skills and the ability to develop and maintain operational systems that support company growth. Knowledge of Filipino language/culture is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support all personnel to achieve departmental and company goals
• Establish and refine company processes and procedures to ensure efficient and smooth operations
• Manage optimum inventory levels
• Oversee supply chain and flow of imported items
• Oversee delivery and dispatch activities, including efficient scheduling of deliveries
• Oversee management of fleet vehicles
• Improve efficiency in warehouse operations

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in operations
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree is preferred
• Proven experience managing managers or senior-level staff
• Strong process development and organizational skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Highly organized and results-driven

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Filipino language or culture, or other Asian language/culture is highly preferred
• Experience in wholesale distribution
• Previous profit and loss responsibility
• Experience improving operational efficiency in a growing company
