Filipino Translator for Ongoing Localization Projects

We are looking for an Filipino Localization Specialist to help us localize the content of our two mobile applications, email communications, and blog posts, as well as help center articles using Lokalise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in localization in the tech industry.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and be responsive during (at least some) CET business hours (a few hours between 9 AM - 6 PM CET)
• Fluent in English
• Native speaker from Filipino
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances, transcreation practices and technology terms
• Availability to work on this project, around 5-10 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-localized content while ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Ensure the style guide and glossary are used and well maintained.
• Collaborate with the internal team to understand how to improve the AI translations.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the localization process.

Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 10 hours per week.
