Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Filipino Chef with extensive culinary expertise to lead our kitchen team. Duties

• Must have Serve-Safe food handlers certificate.
• Cook Filipino Foods from memory. Clean kitchen and storage rooms.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for hygiene, sanitation, and proper food handling.
• Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory levels, and procurement processes to support operational efficiency.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth, leadership development, and teamwork among staff.

Experience

• Proven culinary experience with a strong background in Filipino cuisine and fine dining environments. Preferably has been a chef in the Philippines for over 2 years and can provide documentation to prove this.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in busy restaurant or hospitality settings.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety standards such as HACCP or equivalent certifications.
• Hands-on experience in menu planning, food handling, kitchen operations, and shift management.
• Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for quality control, cost management, and customer service excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
