About the Role

As a Seasonal Food Quality Assurance Supervisor, you play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in our wild-caught salmon operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, innovate, and grow within a fast-paced and dynamic seafood processing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Quality Control (QC) team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and SSOPs standards.
  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and quality reports.
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Train staff on food safety and quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, Biology, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in food quality assurance.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role. - HACCP certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, and food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in seafood industry (especially salmon).
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or Tagalog).
  • Experience in remote or seasonal operations.
