Caregiver Needed – Chatsworth, CA (Filipino / Tagalog Preferred)

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to assist a female client in Chatsworth, CA who is recovering from cancer. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and comfortable providing consistent support and companionship.

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and supervision
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Stand-by assist at all times
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation for errands and appointments (driver required)
• Support with daily routines

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Companionship and supervision

• Transportation for errands and appointments (driver required)
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, following HIPAA guidelines
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
• Support clients during outings or community activities to promote social engagement

Requirements

• Fluency in Tagalog is essential; proficiency in English is preferred|
• HCA
• TB Test
• Drivers license
• Vehicle Insurance
• Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable
• Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Strong interpersonal skills with patience and empathy for diverse client needs
• Valid driver’s license preferred for community outings or appointments
• Must be reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care in a respectful manner
