Tagalog-Speaking Caregiver Needed

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Tagalog-speaking Caregiver for a female client in Chatsworth who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The language requirement is essential to ensure clear communication and client comfort.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

Client Overview

• Alert, ambulatory, and enjoys conversation
• Light personal care needed
• Foley catheter (must be comfortable emptying and monitoring)
• Dietary restrictions and food allergies

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Meal planning and preparation (must follow dietary guidelines carefully)
• Medication reminders
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment
• Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities as needed

Requirements

• Home Care Aide registration
• TB test
• Driver's license
• Vehicle insurance
• Fluent in Tagalog with excellent communication skills in English
• Prior experience in senior care, assisted living, home health, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism preferred
• Compassionate attitude with strong patience skills and cultural sensitivity
• Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans
