Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Tagalog-speaking Filipino Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home and community-based care to our diverse client population. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Tagalog and possess a strong background in senior care, disability support, and patient monitoring. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, medication management, and ensuring their safety and well-being in accordance with care plans and healthcare regulations. The caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring long-term support, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs as prescribed
  • Support clients with memory care needs such as dementia and Alzheimer's care
  • Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, following HIPAA guidelines
  • Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members
  • Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and perform heavy lifting when necessary
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
  • Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Support clients during outings or community activities to promote social engagement
  • Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures

Requirements

  • Fluency in Tagalog is essential; proficiency in English is preferred
  • Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required (e.g., resident transfers using Hoyer lifts)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with patience and empathy for diverse client needs
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for community outings or appointments
  • Must be reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care in a respectful manner

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 60.0 per week
