Description Title: Lecturer (Korean) Position Number: pending Hiring Unit: College of Arts, Languages & Letters, Dept. of East Asian Languages and Literatures Location: Manoa Date Posted: April 05, 2016 Closing Date: Continuous Salary Information: Minimum $1,978 per credit hour; commensurate with qualifications and experience. Full Time/Part Time: Part Time Temporary/Permanent: Temporary Other Conditions: For placement in department adjunct lecturer pool for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026.
Mainly part-time employment, contingent on approval to fill, course offerings (ranging from 3 to 12 credits), position clearance, availability of funds, and sufficient enrollment. Appointments offered on a semester basis. Duties and Responsibilities To teach basic language skill courses in the target language.
Minimum Qualifications MA in the target language or related discipline required. High-level fluency in the target language and English. Desirable Qualifications College-level classroom experience in teaching Korean language.
