We are seeking skilled and experienced Tagalog interpreters for an exciting remote, over-the-phone interpreting (OPI) project in the healthcare sector. This role is essential in supporting Tagalog-speaking patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive communication.
Responsibilities:
- Provide over-the-phone interpretation between Tagalog and English in medical settings.
- Interpret medical terminology, patient instructions, and treatment plans accurately.
- Assist patients in understanding healthcare services, including insurance and benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
Qualifications/Eligibility:
- Fluency in Tagalog and English.
- Certification or proven experience in medical interpreting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- US residency required.
