Job Overview
We're a dubbing company looking to hire Native speakers who want a contracting job they can do from home. You will not be dubbing these videos, you will be verifying the translation accuracy and pronunciation of an already dubbed video. Essentially it's how Uber/DoorDash works, but with translation verification. We work with creators like Mythical Entertainment, Mr. Beast, KSI, Amazon, Disney, and a ton of others-- which means the videos you would be verifying will range from short to long, and in all styles.
We're rolling this verified service out in Spanish, Portuguese, German, Hindi and French, But are looking specifically for German and Hindi right now.We'll be rolling out more languages in this service eventually.
The work summarized:
We have dubbed videos that have already been translated/dubbed-- and the job of the person will be to verify the accuracy of the translation/pronunciation, and verify that the voice sounds correct. The work takes about 1.25-1.5x the length of the video, to do when you have the hang of it.
The pay summarized: We contract out at about $.62/minute-$1/minute of the video. 60m video= ~$37-$60.. etc. We're a local company based in SLC/Provo, and will outsource, but would love to work with local native students or professionals and give a pretty dang good contracting opportunity. Requirements
- Native speakers of the languages are favored, but someone with highly advanced knowledge of the language and modern culture will be great.
- Ability to provide high quality work within a given time frame
- Ability to work with sensitive content
