Job Title: Account Director

Job summary:
We are looking for an Account Director to act as the Client Partner Lead for our Health & Beauty portfolio. Your responsibilities in this role will be to:
- Form the Kantar Worldpanel point of view on Filipino consumer behaviour and trends in Health & Beauty
- Grow successful partnerships with Health & Beauty clients by truly understanding their needs and offering insights & solutions that help them make the best decisions
- Drive commercial excellence and own commercial results for your portfolio
- Guide a team of Account Managers & Executives to support you on these goals
WHAT'D YOU DO:
Client Partnership
- Adds value to client relationships. Based on a deep understanding of our client businesses, designs and takes accountability for leading the account plan and all client interactions. Builds relationships with senior stakeholders across different functions in our clients’ organization. Discusses client feedback and monitors satisfaction to ensure our service is continually meeting evolving client needs and helps them make the best decisions.
- Takes on a consultative approach in understanding clients’ overall objectives through dialogues with key client stakeholders about their ongoing challenges.
- Identifies client challenges, prepares proposals accordingly and agrees mutually beneficial agreements with our client partners.
Shopper Expertise
- Demonstrates an excellent understanding of Filipino shopper behaviour in health & beauty, and delivers this through impactful stories that help unlock actionable insights and opportunities for clients to grow their business.
- Demonstrates personal credibility while drawing from all Worldpanel portfolios
Commercial Excellence
- Role models sustainable commercial practices and owns commercial results to ensure ambitious targets are met.
- Contributes ideas for improving our services and proactively leads initiatives that will enable us to hit the milestones in our growth plan
- Communicates with key internal stakeholders and escalates any client concerns to aid senior management with prioritizing investment and development efforts
Team Leadership
- Coach and train line reports and other team members, share knowledge and encourage a culture of learning. Help individuals in the team understand how they are each contributing to the achievement of the Kantar Worldpanel vision and strategy.
WHAT'D YOU BRING:
- A commercial and curious mindset with the ability to answer clients’ big questions, unafraid to have a point of view.
- A strong research practitioner with substantial experience in analysing data, able to turn complex data sets into clear insights and recommendations.
- Proven experience managing a team and projects to achieve and to grow account revenue in a commercial environment.
- A desire to support individuals’ development and wellbeing with the ability to manage team workloads, and anticipate client demands.
- Strong communication skills as the role requires the candidate to be a presenter, influencer and coach to the team and to stakeholders.
- Able to cope well with time pressure and make decisions under complex and demanding circumstances
- The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant (client / agency) experience
