COMPENSATION: Range C, $21.10-$37.02, plus $0.63 bilingual stipend for English/Spanish or English/Tagalog
Introduction: The Daly City Youth Health Center is a collaborative program of the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD) and the San Mateo County Health Services Agency. The center provides comprehensive, integrated, school-linked behavioral health and education services to children, teens, young adults, and their families, dedicated to transforming their lives through evidence-based care. Our services include primary medical care, mental health counseling, health education, and substance use prevention. With a variety of services conveniently located in one building, our integrated model allows us not only to bridge the gap between behavioral and physical health but also to assist families with food and housing security, vaccination and testing, and other resources.

Job Description: The Operations Assistant will work closely with the Behavioral Health Manager and
Director to be a liaison between DCYHC staff and clients, promote Health Center services and ensure DCYHC is operating efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
OPERATIONAL AND GENERAL DCYHC DUTIES
- Maintain and organize office
- Compose correspondence with attention to format, grammar and accuracy
- In charge of coordinating maintenance of building
- Handle monthly office supply ordering
- Establish and maintain office integrity
- Assist in preparing for meetings by creating agendas, gathering materials, reserving rooms
- Perform general office duties and other related duties as assigned
- Schedule, coordinate and document outreach events
- Maintain outreach materials
- Support communication between leadership and program staff
- Participate and contribute to staff meetings and other community meetings
- Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and FERPA laws
- Attend trainings to ensure individual and professional growth
- Greet and direct clients who come to DCYHC
- Comply with JUHSD and DCYHC policies and procedures
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
- Update, maintain and organize client records
- Maintain printed forms and documents needed for Behavioral Health tasks
- Gathering and organizing internal feedback
- Schedule interviews and other meetings
- Create trainee training and school site schedule
- Check references and manage onboarding process
- Support staff and interns with IT/computer setup and support
- Uploading documents to our Electronic Health Record System
- Maintaining meeting agendas and minutes
- Attend outreach tabling events to engage community members
Qualifications:
- Passion for DCYHC mission
- Experience working with youth and their families
- Knowledge of local community and educational resources is a plus
- Required High School diploma or equivalent, 2 or 4 year degrees are a plus
- High level of proficiency in technology, especially excel and word. Experience with Avatar, is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team setting, as well as independently
- Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients

- Well-organized and efficient
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), especially with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
- Ability to work with all levels of management, internally and externally
- Bilingual language skills in Spanish-English or Tagalog-English is a plus
- Must have access to a vehicle and a good driving record
Salary:
This is a grant-funded, Range C, Jefferson Union High School District position, salary placement
dependent upon experience and education, plus bilingual stipend for English/Spanish or English/Tagalog. Length of employment/hours available is dependent on secured grant funding.
