Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Filipino Chef with extensive culinary expertise to lead our kitchen team. Duties

Must have Serve-Safe food handlers certificate.
Cook Filipino Foods from memory. Clean kitchen and storage rooms.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for hygiene, sanitation, and proper food handling.
Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions effectively.
Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory levels, and procurement processes to support operational efficiency.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth, leadership development, and teamwork among staff.

Experience

Proven culinary experience with a strong background in Filipino cuisine and fine dining environments. Preferably has been a chef in the Philippines for over 2 years and can provide documentation to prove this.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in busy restaurant or hospitality settings.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety standards such as HACCP or equivalent certifications.
Hands-on experience in menu planning, food handling, kitchen operations, and shift management.
Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for quality control, cost management, and customer service excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
